DoNothingFor2Minutes.com Website - A site is challenging its visitors to do nothing. Now its the weekend and if you are looking for the perfect weekend activity, here is a site that doesn’t want you to do anything. That’s right, nothing.
www.DoNothingFor2Minutes.com, it is a very simple site, Do Nothing for Two Minutes, challenges you to do just that — nothing — and if you touch your mouse or keyboard during the countdown, you’re greeted with a “Fail” message. Lucky fro me I passed 
The creator of DoNothingFor2Minutes.com, Alex Tew and developer is Ben Dowling. Now what would make this site more effective is to add a motion-sensing webcam, so the only way to pass this test would be to to be as still as possible, because anyone can just go away from their PC/laptop for the 2 minutes…
Alex Tew, why does that name sound familiar? Back in 2005 Alex, while in college, convinced visitors to his Million Dollar Home Page to buy pixels on a million-pixel graphic for $1 apiece. It was a huge hit, bringing in $1,037,100 to help pay for his college education. ..smart asss…Now he is back with DoNothingFor2Minutes.com.
Tew’s other ventures were not so successful, Pixelotto, PopJam, SockandAwe and OneMillionPeople. Just a few months ago he was called “the most annoying man on the Internet” by the Daily Telegraph.
The aim of this site for Tew is focusing on a more Zen-like approach with his new do-nothing sit— just pure relaxation.
So go ahead visit Donothingfor2minutes.com, take a couple of minutes, listen to the soothing sounds of the ocean and just do nothing. It might do you some good.
