According to a recent study by Litmus, most marketers plan to either maintain or increase their email marketing spend in 2022.
The report is based on data from a survey of nearly 400 marketers around the world.
About 43% of marketers plan to keep their current spending levels on email marketing in 2022, and 37% say they plan to increase their spending levels.
Almost a third (32%) of marketers plan to increase their email team member budgets in 2022, and 36% say they will invest more in integrating email with other channels.
62% of marketers say COVID-19 changed their email strategy a little, and 22% say it changed their strategy significantly.
About 70% of marketers say email workload has increased since the pandemic started, and 61% say email volume has increased.
